What Timer Type Should I Choose?
1. Countdown Timer

A countdown to a specific date, updating in real-time.

→ Ideal for: Showing time left until an event or offer ends.

2. Static Timer

Always counts down from the same fixed time, no matter when it's viewed.

→ Ideal for: Creating urgency in emails or landing pages with a fixed time.

3. Dynamic Timer Advanced

Counts down from a specific date you need to specify in the Timer URL, adjusted by the duration you set (e.g., 24 hours from the email send time).

→ Ideal for: Limited-time promotions with a fixed start date and flexible duration.

To use the Dynamic Timer, you need to add 2 parameters to the timer URL:

  • Date: The date and time when the email is sent (in YYYY-MM-DD HH:ii format). By default, this is in UTC, but you can adjust for timezones (e.g., +02:00 for Italy).
  • Duration: The duration in seconds (e.g., 48 hours = 172800 seconds).
  • Example URL: https://emailcountdowntimer.com/i/xER0eFiger?date=2024-04-16 20:00-03:00&duration=172800

This makes the timer dynamic, starting from the set date and lasting for the specified duration. You can use the same timer for differents campaings and users.
